These are suggestions I make to my web clients: Success of any site is based on people who log on. The more you promote the site the more of the possibility of a sale from the site. Any lack of traffic is yours as is success. ------- all business cards, receipts and labels should have your web site on them. the name should be on a large sign somewhere at you flea or store locations your verbal reminder when customers do not buy, should include the fact that you have a website. If you haven't been doing these simple things, you will not have any sales If your products are not "special", compelling, or "a deal", then you will not have any sales. You must offer a special of the week, or month to compell people to buy onec they go to the site. I suggest web site prices should be less than your booth prices. This way, the client can be compensated for shipping. The web pages are a silent salesman with a very cheap fee. Since you don't have to stand at a booth all day, or rent a stall, your web prices should reflect that savings to the customer. This will encourage the customer to "buy online". Any customer who has already bought from you should get a coupon good for a percentage off at your web page. This will result in repeat business as well. Remember, that when your purchasing customer has left your booth or store, they may not get back to the market for a year, but they can browse on the web aytime. You must give them incentive to go there. -Ian

Tips on Tips
Thumbtips are a vanishing art. The majority of people overlook this great effect. Rocco put a flashlight bulb in one. (something I showed him years ago). I also did thumb coils, thumbtip dye tubes, double thumb tips for color changes, and more..all part of the lecture.
